Succulent terrariums have swept the internet and if you are one of the many that swoon at the sight of these desert plants, you can learn how to incorporate this trend into your homemade treats!
With the guidance of cake designer, Vicky Teckemeyer of Etta Avenue Cakes, you will learn how to make two varieties of fondant succulents--echeveria and crassula gollum. You’ll take home four of Vicky’s scrumptious cupcakes (two chocolate raspberry and two champagne rose!) topped with the succulents.
And with class being just before Mother’s Day, you can treat your favorite mom (or yourself!) to these jaw-dropping confections! Or even better, BRING your mom to class! ♡♡
In this class you will learn how to:
• Color fondant
• Cut, shape, and texture succulent leaves
• Assemble and dry succulent
• Color-dust finished succulent to create depth and realism
• Create edible 'moss' and decorate cupcakes with it
Two delicious cupcake recipes and two swiss meringue buttercream recipes will be included in your take-home handout! Take-home succulent tool kits will be available for purchase.
